Captain_Brian, the kethane mod already includes a kethane-fuelled generator. I assume (but haven't checked) you could use that to run drills and mine more kethane than the generator burns.

Cool! I haven't really messed with it much so I didn't realize that. Though I might still put some low power engines on the tops of my refineries so I can get that "Blade Runner" look with flames shooting out the tops. :D
