Does reverting a flight mean you lose your science?

Recommended Posts

So, if you do an experiment and transmit it during a mission, is the only way to successfully have that science added to your R&D total to NOT revert your flight? E.g. just go back to the Space Centre at the end of your mission? In other words, you can't crash or anything if you want your science to be kept right?

If we want science from our satellites back to Kerbin, we need to transmit it and then terminate the flight?

edit: Hmm... Apparently no. Apparently if you go few times between space center view and back to satellite, that revert Flight goes to gray and you get your science points. Yay, now I can have old satellites in orbit! :D

So you just transmit it, go to the space centre and you've got your points? Sick
