I need to know this for sure!

Only certain mods can be included on the carrer mode, the others need to be updated. Engineer redux for example is available on the first node.

You still need to go to the R & D tree and "buy" them on the first node for free.

Since the science has reduced efficiency, that means the amoung of science points one can earn is limited, right?

If this is so, doesn't having lot's of mods mean you will run out of science points to research eveything? Or are there so many science points to gather that it is not an issue?

Can modders add new science rewards? For eample, soil samples from kethane fields?

The mod parts are added to an already existing node so the points needed to unlock everything are not increased by adding more parts.

The parts show up in whatever category the mod developer put them at whatever cost. You can edit your cfg yourself to change them if you like. For instance, before MechJeb was updated I added the following to // --- editor parameters ---

TechRequired = start

entryCost = 0

What this does is it adds the part to that category but doesn't activate it. Then you go into the R&D screen and click the part to activate it (if you have already unlocked that category).
