How to purchase parts in Career mode.

Just starting in career mode. Racked up 58 science points over the first few flights. Went to the research facility to get myself a goo container, for 50 science. Can't buy it. I click the icon, and it clicks, but nothing happens. Nothing else on the screen looks like an obvious way to purchase parts.

Help?

Make sure you are clicking research, and not the part picture.

At the moment, as the game is still in development, you only have to research the parts there is no buying. So click the big blue button once you've selecte what research you want and you should be all set.

I was referring to using science in order to build parts, not paying in money. Anyway, there was no big blue button. However, after restarting the program, there is now. So, some sort of glitch was screwing me up.
