...can you show me an example of what you have done so that i know what to expect :)

Unfortunately I don't have any examples, as I lost them when I had to re-format my hard drive. I could knock something up though, any specific request? Eg: A mission-specific flag, a mission banner, a planet banner...

In the meantime, however - a flag of mine:

It's designed to look like the flags you get with the stock game, but with a manned capsule. It's kind of a combination of 2/3 of the flags in the game. I also have a version of it with the flag wrinkles, if you want that.

actually that does pretty good :) but the doing the circuit board for me would show how capable are you of making textures for the new miniaturized science equipment that will soon go with the rucksack

Miniaturised science, eh? Sounds great, would you mind giving me some details on what their purpose would be, what size they would be (for now I would assume that miniature means the same size as, for example: the gravoli detector), and their proportions (horizontal:vertical - EG: 16:9 (average monitor), 4:3, 1:2, etc.)? If you don't want to post them here, Skype's always an option. I'll even give you my word: unless you want me to do so, I will not inform anyone of any of the content in this addon (<-- There's the knock-up NDA).

Maybe I could do some texture work for you, but immo this (good) idea need to be polished... Some suggestions:

- This should be much more big. All your features in so small device is too overpowered. Try to reach some similar to this sizes to get more realism:

whoa did not expect that also i 've know it was too small but i haven't tried adjusting the size yet until i could get hold of a good texturer, get proper measurements of the KMU and also i didn't a want it to be originaly built completely around the KMU because i thought it would look weird with the fact that it would be covering the jets...

also if you want to do texture work for me at least to be fair, wait for Shan_na to post his example before i can choose (i already saw your texture packs :))

Edit: also taking your suggestions in account i have proceeded with making a newer model that will be bigger

Much better concept immo! More suggestions. :) Obviously an usable version should be much more rounded in corners and a bit more deep (think you need the space for a chute+extra EVA fuel...). And I don't love too much the pyramid effect at the bottom: according with your own feature plans, you should have storage for EVA experiments, so maybe a module with the same width as above for several compartments will be more appropriate.

And well, transmit experiments, should be possible only with remote tech or similars... BTW, how will this be spawned?

i have updated my model so that it would have some of the containers although i am not done i feel i should at least show off:)

again not done also Proot if you mean by spawning the usage of communications i planned on having a separate science container with a transmitter (stock until i can figure out animations) which will be where the science parts are mounted for transmission. maybe at

This circuit board: monochrome or colour?

Bright grey scale always fit very well with stock, but for the circuits the colour (green base and goldy metals) is very sweet.

i was looking at your model and i found the topology of your mesh to be a bit weird for some boxy type shape, using sketchup?

yes it is sketch up and i spent 3 hours yesterday trying to fix any gaps before i gave up on it

Edit: @proot also i thought that deploying it via container would be OP so it is radially attached near the hatch

If you arent too fixated on sketchup and are willing to learn i suggest going to either Blender if you have plenty of time and patience or Wings3D if you want to concentrate on the essential, alternatively if you can export your mesh in a proper format i can take a look and give you a few pointers. (havent touched sketchup but if you can export to obj, dae or 3ds that would be a start)

no offense but i hate blender due to how hard it is to figure because in fact it took me weeks just to figure out how to look around. Athough i have never tried Wings3D :) but real question is it free?

and i can already export to .dae with sketchup

did a quick interpretation of your concept with a very fast texture (on auto so some issues), always good to explore new concepts

PS: this was done in Wings in 10 minutes or so and yes its free

ok first that's awesome and second i already made a new model with larger containers

here is the album (i will keep doing this until it looks right)

also i just downloaded wings while typing this just so you know.

Edit: also remember the pack is upside down in sketchfab due to me setting the orientation to upside down in sketchup so that itt would appear right side up in KSP

Looking good! I'll be getting on with that circuit board texture in an hour or so.

Can I just suggest using a different kind of texture? A circuit board is OK for the less external side of things, yes, but it isn't very stock. I could knock something up that's either high-visibility but still stock-esque, or something that's simply stock-esque... Or both (all 3 including circuit board)? Let me know which you'd like to see the most in order and I'll get to work :)

EDIT: By the way, just went to make them and realised I don't have a size yet... 1000px2?
