Navball not working in map view!

When I first began playing the navball was working just fine in map view by clicking the arrow at the bottom. Now when I click it nothing happens and it won't appear. This makes it nearly impossible to get the orbits I am looking for as i now can't control the spacecraft in map view. Is there a setting I accidentally clicked? Is it a known bug in 0.22?

Did you changed the resolution of the game recently?

If so, sometimes when i do it, all of the button's "click here area" can move down, and in this case, out of the screen.
