Where to go?

I've been playing KSP for a considerable amount of time. I can land on the Mün and Minmus without any problem. I once managed to get a probe in orbit around Eve, but ran out of fuel before landing. My question is where do I start for interplanetary missions? With the new science updates, a mission that returns to Kerbin would be preferable, but anything would do. Any advice is much appreciated.

duna, second easiest to reach, easy to return form

Eve is easier to reach, but I doubt your lander has at least 9001 m/s DeltaV.

So duna, for sure.

If you want a return mission, I'd say Duna. The Dunaian atmosphere is not thick like Eve, so you can return home easily.

Very, very few ships have returned from Eve, has it has a surface gravity larger than that of Kerbin.
