It is just a launcher update.

You can now have the launcher when launching the game trough Steam,

They fixed the Launcher and set the config so launching through Steam brings up the Launcher now instead of going directly to game; c.f. here.

Hi,

We've done a small update to the Steam build, to address an issue with the Launcher app. This doesn't affect the game itself, but there is a small update out, so in case you're wondering why your game was updated, that was it.

The Launcher wasn't set to open yet if you open the game through Steam, because we wanted to be sure it was working properly before we changed the Steam config. Now that it's all good, we're going to set it up so launching KSP through Steam takes you to the Launcher first (don't worry, you can set it up to bypass the launcher if you want to).

The KSP Launcher shows you a news feed so you've now got a place to quickly check out the latest news and dev blogs, and it also lets you tweak game settings before opening the game, which means you now have a way to undo any settings that might prevent the game from working properly, plus new settings which are only available from outside the game, like frameless windowed mode. Check out the Advanced Tab on the launcher settings to see the new options.

Does anyone know how? I'm on a Mac and since this latest update the "Play" button never becomes active and I'm stuck in the launcher.

Please un-fix it, the launcher is broken, it breaks the steam overlay and it triggers UAC every time you open KSP, was better without it.

I think if you just set dontShowLauncher in settings.cfg (line 60 for me) to True that will do it.

Anybody know if this fixes the MacOS Launcher? Or is it still completely borked?
