Assigning Kerbals to missions v0.22

With the new career option and the Kerbal Astronaut Centre , is there any way with the current build to change round the Kerbal who will undertake the current mission.

The Astronaut complex has tabs showing available , assigned and lost but these seem not to work and I cannot seem to swap Jebediah as the first mission astronaut with another Kerbal so that the new Kerbal gains experience ( although this not as yet modeled ). Is this swapping still WIP or is there a way to pick a certain Kerbal for a mission.

Yes, you do it by adding and removing them to your command capsule while in the VAB. There are three blue tabs at the top of the screen, "parts, crew, action groups" Select the crew one and you can mix and match.

You can also go straight to the launch-pad from the space center overview. This gives you a window to select the vehicle and specific Kerbals that you want to set up on the launch pad. You obviously need to have a pre-built vehicle to use this option.

Thanks all for the info - now just have to find out how to change "Unanswered" in the thread heading to " Answered".
