Mod to add Science Text and/or Points to Sandbox?

Just checking to see if anyone out there is already working on the matter of adding the ability to do science, or at least read the flavor text that goes with each experiment rather than a blanket "you can't do that in sandbox mode" message.

No, as several other threads have attempted to explain.

Right now, career mode is only beginning to be implemented, a "work in progress" that is nowhere near complete. Even after the tech tree has been entirely filled in, a player cannot use any and all mods they might wish to; those mods must first be integrated into the tree (which is non-trivial and, in the case of some mods, may never happen as the maker is either absent or has better things to do).

Some people, including myself, desire the freedom of sandbox play but also the immersion of being able to play with science - whether to rack up "high scores" or simply to be able to perform experiments on various worlds and get results other than a disappointing "you can't do that." I am hoping that someone has already begun the work of making that possible.
