Rendezvousing with debris

Recommended Posts

Is this possible without just guessing? My interplanetary transfer stage is orbiting Duna but it has no pod, so it won't show up on the map. I can't find an option to show debris on the map view.

I'm assuming this probably isn't possible. So my next question is if it's possible to save-edit a pod onto it so I'll see it?

point your mouse over top of your game screen. you can then choose to show debris. set target ngo meet it.

I see that in the tracking station, but I can't set target from there. If I'm controlling my lander and go to map view I can't see the debris to set target.

What you do is go to the map view while piloting, and move your mouse up to the top of the game screen. A thing should fold down, with icons on it. This controls what shows up. The one furthest to the left is the Debris icon. Right click on it, and it should show you debris. If you left click it will only show you debris, so don't do that, or if you do, right click on each icon, toggling them back on.

Looks like you were writing your post when I last posted, sorry I made you go to the effort. Just had no idea that drop down tab existed.

Anyways, all 3 original kerbals were able to rendezvous and return to kerbin without incident. Even though I left my lander engines on for a while and wasted tons of fuel.
