isaac armstrong
there should be more scenarios when your flying in space.like if a kerbal got sick you should have the option to keep going or not.or if a small meteorite or a computer glitch damages your ship you should find a way to fix it.i would like to hear what you guys think. TheCanadianVendingMachine
Squad says "No random damages or errors to ships in flight. This is to prevent you from being halfway to Jool, then a random failure will ruin the mission"
vexx32
To be a little clearer -- http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/36863-What-not-to-suggestIt's under Miscellaneous. But yes, random failures (for any reasons) are not considered 'desirable' by a large part of the player base, and Harvester has previously stated (at least three times) that he does not wish to punish the player for something entirely beyond their control. Running a search for "parts failing" or "random failure" or something along those lines should yield at least a few previously closed threads on this topic. UbioZur
This would still be considered as random failure and as stated above it is on the what not to suggest list. The dev wants you to be able to launch twice the same rocket and that it goes always the same way (unless the user input have changed).
