A Noob's first trip to Duna...

Nothing special for most of you i think but for me i could not be happier!

Today i had set off to Duna for the first time ever, i used the website that calculates the planets angle and just shot a giant rocket at it...

The second stage broke in half but luckily i had enough fuel to JUST make an encounter and do a entry burn

When nearing the red planet i found out F2 removes the HUD ... so only nice pics of the end xD

With the lack of fuel i could not make it back, i tried at going to gilly but crashed in a mountain

Yes it also had jet engines...i thought they would work there but i forgot they need oxygen...

Add more struts to transfer stage, redesign the lander, ditch the jets - and then send rescue mission for your stranded kerbonauts

Getting on the surface with a faulty lander? In one piece? Dude, most of us would lithobrake so hard debris would've hit the orbit You did good.
