Recommended Posts

Coming to you soon... The Kerbal repair tape for the next time you've damaged your ship.

Have you landed with a little too much force and now watch your fuel tank roll away?:(

Forgot to put your landing gear down and popped off your engine?;.;

Maybe you broke off something that's not too importaAHH **** I NEED THATWEAREALLGOINGTODIE!

Fear not for you can tape it back together. Strategically although dubiously placed tape may assist you in heading back to Kerbin. After having affixed your damaged portion (assuming you haven't completely destroyed the miscreant part) throw caution to the wind/ solar wind and try limping your way back home!

Try it now for 3 easy payments of....

I don't know, I'm not a salesman, but I think it would be fun and hilarious if we could have the Kerbal's attempt shoddy repairs to their machines.

Does anyone know if this would be easy to implement? Anyone willing to tackle this? It could be similiar to the Kerbal Attachment System.

KAS and (IIRC) the lazor system have that ability already, so it is possible to do. That combined with the fact that it is a commonly suggested feature makes it look like this feature has a bright future in the stock game. After all, that's how it happened to multiplayer. The devs didn't even want to mention it until KMP popped up and proved it could be done.
