On this day, I thought I would share a famous broadcast that is green-alien related that aired on halloween in 1938.

I knew about this broadcast but did not listen to it in its entirety. It is very authentic and historic. I enjoyed listening to it very much and hope you will too.

The book is well worth a read too. It's quite short, but well-written and has some interesting ideas that didn't make it through into most of the film adaptations.

It's out of copyright, so you get it for free online. Project Gutenberg has it.

I think this is a window into the 1930's.

And secondly, yes: many interesting ideas that I didn't expect anyone in early 20th century to even cross their mind.
