So I tried to replicate a 1970 dodge charger, this

and after countless attempts to make it, I gave up and ended with this

She's actually quite fun to drive in.

Not to mention, somewhat crash resistant

Well it would be hard to fit in a lower hood, but maybe you could use part clipping to partially have the air intake under the hood?
