Restoring a vanished fuel line in flight

Recommended Posts

I' m delivering a plane to Laythe at the moment and I noticed that an essential fuel line has disappeared. The root end of the fuel line s still at the root part, but the other side of the fuel line doesn't exist. It happenes sometimes when fuel lines are placed in 'hard' places, and when that happenes I usually restsrt the flight, but now it's too late to restart. So is there a way(maybe with mods) to restore it without aborting the mission?

Unfortunately KAS doesn't allow to grab standard struts and fuel lines.

Yes, I know about fuel transfer between fuel tanks, but my fuel line connects a fuel tank and an engine.

Well, if there's no solution, I'll send another plane untill it's too late from the launch window.

The best way to do what merlinux suggests is to find the craft file for your intact craft and locate the fuel line part. Copy that and paste it into your persistent save at the appropriate place. What matters more than anything else is that the parent part number is correct (and that you don't break syntax). Make a backup of your persistent.

For roleplaying, Jeb got out with his spanner and duct tape roll. Lick o' paint, lick o' paint, good as new.
