More antennas = more data?

Well, here's my question.

If i have a, hmm, let's say, communotron 16-16, and try to ransmit a 25 mits size packet, it will have any difference if i put another antenna?

So,

MOAR ANTENNAS= MOAR MITS?

No, you can't split a transmission between antennas. However if you have more then one science item and enough power then 2 antennas can be used to transmit 2 different experiments at the same time (or 3 and so on).

When you review a science report, just click transmit.

You can also just do a "transmit data " on the idle antenna once you got new data after the other started transmitting

I put my sciency bits in an action group, and then just click away at the transmit buttons as the report windows appear. Multiple antennas are used automatically, it all works rather logically.
