Boiling up but kind of cold - Despite throwing all the gas and dust off I believe that out by Mars it's still cold by Earth standards

Not on a house nor railway lines - siding

No water source or steel entwined - spring

Seven watch from land and sky - the five orbiters and two rovers currently operating at Mars

But even now they wave goodbye - when I posted the riddle the comet had already passed closest approach
