Is it possible to have the wing attached to the engines so when they swivel from vertical to horizontal the engines aren't passing through the wings but instead change direction with the engines?

I don't use mods so I don't really know how you are doing that... so.. um. yeah.. Not sure if that is possible or not to have the wings on the engines.

It is possible, but with the rotation points I am using from infernal robotics, they tend to flex quite a lot, so no good for wings yet... but I am still testing things.

The mods I use are all in my sig, but the ones in that picture that are doing the swiveling is the Infernal Robotics rotation points.

I am currently going through a tweaking all the designs that were offset by the added weight of .23 mono to the cockpits. Some of the larger designs it had little to no affect on, some of the smaller craft it through them off quite a lot.

Ohh.. I didn't think about the mono in the cockpit.. I have a small vtol ssto that might have been upset by that.. guess I will have to see if it's ballance is ruined by the update : T

Swivel point sounds really cool.. I think I will see what Infernal Robotics is like.

I really like that last design...I need to know how you made the curved wings!!! Is that a new pwing feature? Where are those red fuel tanks from too? I never tried using rotating engines from infernal either but that's a cool idea to think about.

I've been holding off on making new designs until b9 is updated to .23 so I've been playing only with stock parts these last couple days.

Also thanks for the album tips ^^ I tried to fix but no cigar lol.

Yeah the curved wings are a new Pwing feature, along with pwing control surfaces, being able to make control surfaces length and depth the way you want is nice. And the tanks are from the Stretchytank mod. Which is handy in just cutting down part counts if nothing else.

I couldn't wait for Bac9 to update B9, so I fixed the parts I needed fixed to work, mainly the SABRE engines, and then kept on playing. If you need the fix for the SABRE engines it is in the B9 thread.

And I see what you did wrong on your album link.

Post your imgur albums like this [] (imgur in the brackets) ---link-- minus the # and after---[/] (imigur in those brackets after the/)

So it should look like this, I am going to intentionally space it so it wont work but you will see how the code works.

Hey heyy, success. Thanks.

I noticed the different control surfaces after i posted too. Those are really cool. I try my best to play career but I always find myself in sandbox designing or redesigning planes. Its all Pwings and b9's fault really for making the design process of new planes so easy.

I was looking through the b9 thread and saw the fix..I won't be able to play for a few days so I figured Id wait out for the official update and those amazing looking new parts.

Edit: On second thought I think I'll just load up .22 and continue working on a shuttlecraft I was making. Thanks as always for inspiration :P

Glad I could be of help, and I play in Career mode. All of those craft were designed in career mode. But I also unlocked the tree quick.

Hey Hodo. Lots of cool and inspirational designs you have here. Thanks for sharing. The latest one with the rounded wings ... They make it look like a WW2 fighter ... in SPACE!

Thanks, I loved some of the WWII fighter designs, they were functional yet still stylish.

And here is a new one I am currently testing.... So far it works...

Look ma no wings!

And the VSR-8 has completed its shake down test run to Minimus. It had to dock at KerSta-2 to refuel so this wasn't a single stage to Minimus, but more a test to see if it can make it to another planet and still land on Kerbin.

I unfortunately will not be able to release the craft file on it as I have a custom part on there, I reworked the kethane generator into a liquid fuel generator that creates 10 charge at the cost of .5 liquid fuel.

Because I wanted to prove a point.

The original designs were _Aramchek_'s

found in this thread.

Fixed the landing gear, removed the horrid looking stock wings, replaced with P-wings. The landing gear is no longer a tail dragging setup and now a modern tricycle gear setup. Actually set the functions for the control surfaces so they perform the correct settings for roll, yaw, and pitch. Tried to retain the original look and setup of the craft.
