Although, I wouldn't quite classify KSP as "sci-fi" in my opinion, it's really more of a "science" game or something, it's just not quite sci-fi enough for me to call it a sci-fi game. But whatever, voted!

Near-future sci-fi is still sci-fi. The kerbals are entirely capable of putting manned missions on every solid body in their solar system.

Actually, no. None of the parts are sized or balanced like any real part. Also: we don't have any yellow fuel lines (actually, no fuel lines at all). With current technology, this would be far too dangerous.

KSP has Science now. And it has Jebediah, and never in the real world has anyone as crazy, loopy, awesome and badass at the same time existed, so its also fiction .

i think ksp should be under sim. i know that it isn't a complete sim like x-pane or orbiter, but its closer to that than no-aerodynamics warthunder.
