Remove Gimbaling from Basic Jet Engine?

I always thought it was odd that a Squad part that classified itself as "basic" would have vectored thrust which is a terribly advanced feature in the human world. Also overwhelming My First Jet Plane type KSP creations are over sensitive in control which gimbling the engine just exacerbates.

An excellent idea. I am sure they will introduce more jet engine parts in time as well.

Tech tree balancing aside, I believe you can turn off gimbling on jet engines by right clicking on it and click "Lock Gimbal"
