Mech Jeb - attitude control

Hi

I am very new to this, but...I have a rocket which will get me to Mun, with some fuel spare. I have been using Mech Jeb to help me get the feel of things without getting too frustrated. So, I enter the Mun sphere of influence and my flight path shows me that I will either crash onto Mun, or slingshot round it and escape its influence, depending which of my attempts I am looking at.

My problem is that I cannot engage the attitude controls - pitch, yaw and rotation. They work fine in orbit around Kerbin, but by the time I get to Mun, having used Mech Jeb Manouevre Planner to plot and execute, they are ineffective. The instruments in the bottom left of the screen reflect that I am pressing the right keys, but the craft itself remains resolutely motionless.

I have had a good look round Mech Jeb, but I cannot, for the life of me see where to restore manual attitude control to my keyboard.

I know I must be missing something that should be obvious....

I'd be grateful for any pointers. Mech Jeb is the only addon I have.

You didn't say if it's a manned vessel or not. If its only a probe, check to see if you still have ElectricCharge. If that runs out on a probe, nothing works. The other thing that used to happen to me is that I was still time warped. Controls don't respond if you are over 1x.

You don't see response in the indicators during timewarp. So yes, he most definitely ran out of power.

Well, I said I was new to this.

No, not on timewarp. Manned craft, but relying on reaction wheels (I now realise).
