Spazer.net Kerbal Multi Player Server Information

Hey it's James from the spazer career server. I was trying to connect to the Battle server, I have all the plugins, however, when I go to connect it says Connected to Server! Handshaking.... And never does anything else. What am I doing wrong?

I agree daquake, it's been happening alot with other servers as well and I would just like to point out the issue too. But for some reason I see the player list and other players are on the server. What did they do that we didn't?

When the servers have many active ships (not debris) it takes quite a while to connect. I've seen it take a few minutes on servers with over 200 ships active.

On that note I have decided that the servers will be cleared on a regular basis (once monthly) starting April 1st.

Question: why are the Gatling gun and the workshop forbidden parts? because Modulemanager isn't on the modlist, exp launchpads is useless without the workshop as only the workshop has a productivity value.

All advertised parts and plugins are now available on the Battle Server.

Wich is the most populated server? I joined all except the battle and they are all empty.

Its usually pretty quiet this time of day...

And there is a new version of KMP coming soon, so its the calm before the storm.

That being said... the two stock servers see the most action on a regular basis.

EDIT: Ok so when I actually wait to connect after it says handshaking, a little sentence comes up saying disconnected please return to the main menu. If I press connect another time, it'll come up with tcp connection established. Is there still a problem with what I'm doing?

There's a new version of KMP coming soon that will address the few problems with the new KSP version as well as fix a host of other bugs.

Apparently there is not going to be a new version of KMP - but DMP looks to be promising and Spazer.net will mirror all of its current servers over there!

I don't know if I totally agree with Kerbin SOI being neutral, Kerbin atmosphere maybe, and you wouldn't have to worry about LEO campers because surface to orbit missiles would wipe them out. Definite yes on extraplanetary launchpads and kethane, for those of use not interested in sitting around KSC trying not to die. I don't know about having blatant military mods, I mean, you lose all finesse and strategy when you hand everyone gatling guns. But things like lazor systems and KAS would allow you to think of better ways to kill people, rather than just arming the trolls. As to the atmospheric combat, hooligan lab's airships & submarines mods allow some great options for stable atmospheric flight. Finally, servermakers, I would strongly encourage the implementation of Burn Together (it's a mod). It allows the piloting of fleets whilst out of atmosphere, which I see as a suitable replacement to Mechjeb

The idea of Kerbin SOI being neutral was to force folks to move to other SOIs to do battle and allow less experienced and new to the server players the chance to get going before getting beat up. The other (now not an issue with DMP) reason for Kerbin SOI being neutral was that the old KMP server basically ground to a halt with too many folks in flight around KSC.

The MODs for the Battle Servers were vetted with several members of the community - the final list was a compromise of requests.

As far as arming trolls with gatlin guns - you'll just have to do some troll hunting :) that should be some easy shooting!

The two MODs you mentioned sound interesting - if others in the community agree that those would enhance the servers, they certainly can be added.

all who have problems connecting to the server

and writes the files "MechJeb2RPM.dll" and "ModStatistics-1.0.3.dll" are not in a white sheet

just delete them

and in the folder "Kerbal Space Program \ GameData \ ModStatistics" get "settings.cfg" open it with Notepad and find the "update = true" and change to "false" that would look so "update = false"

Hi guys,

I got some problems on my server. I was playing on the career mod with a friend when suddenly the game blocked on the Space Center (where you can choose R&D, Contract ...). We can't go in some buildings but just in the R&D and we can't return on the Space Center after.

I tested some configuration and this problem is just in the career mod. We use the MechJeb mod.

-I changed the Warp option => nothing changed

-I deleted MechJeb from my game => Nothing changed

-I deleted the server folder and then restart a new with the save => nothing changed

I don't know what to do now, and it's pretty hard to restart a new game cause the start is very long :/
