Mun Shot

This is my best rocket, that despite its name has never successfully landed on the mun (unless crashes count ).

The framework that it starts off in

The first stage.

this has both the 6 main boosters on and the 12 solid fuel boosters

not shown here are the boosters gracefully parachuting to the ground and exploding

The second stage (just the first without the solid fuel tanks)

it starts off quite slow (even slower without the solid fuel)

and then gets going by the end of the stage

The third stage, just after releasing the second stage

the third stage in flight, initiating orbit

and landing

Another version of the mun shot is also available. all it is, is the same ship with engines added to the bottom of the framework.

it is impractically unstable and cannot get past the first stage without flipping.

also, what stage is impossible to control? i\'ve never been able to regain control after tipping the first/second stage, but i\'ve never seen a reason to tip em...

Hi, your ship looks awesome and i so much want to try it but when i copy the stuff inside a note and make it a .craft file i cant open it ingame.

Have anyone else had this problem? if so did you also find a fix for it?

thanks, try right clicking the link and click save as. apparently chrome can read .craft files (probably because they are just text).
