Small "robot arm"

Hi all,

Is there any sort of mod that provides a SMALL robotic arm that things can be attached to?

I know there are a few mods of the American and Russian space station manipulator arms, but what I want is something much more simple.

Imagine something like a single landing leg where I could attach the leg to a ship (as usual), but attach something else (maybe a camera) to the "footpad" so that the camera (or whatever was attached) could be folded up and stowed, but then "deployed" (imagine lowering the single landing gear so that the camera swings out).

Anything like that?
