Provide a way to ID parts that are already part of a ship in the VAB?

...it would be handy if there were a way to identify parts that are already part of a vehicle.

...because sometimes I forget what I put on my rockets.

Aye, even a little tooltip when you hover over placed parts could be immensely useful.

Tooltip would be fine, but in the corner of the screen so that it does not occlude placement etc.

As a workaround, I think you can go to action groups menu and click the part to see what it is.

Perhaps the tweakables in the next update will make this easier where we can simply rightclick any part in the editor.
