Zoom in VAB?

So the shift and scroll won't work, neither will +/- buttons. I'm on a mac. Thought I'd bother you all with a new thread.

I use a Mac and have had no issues with controls in the VAB (or SPH). Scroll moves the camera up or down in VAB and +- zooms (I have a num pad and use that). I'm using Mavericks but earlier versions worked fine. Check your game settings. Then check your system settings. I hope that helps.

I used to have issues with it, but now shift + 2-finger-scroll works.

For me, a PC user running windows, the VAB zoom is the + and - on the numeric keypad, not the main keyboard.

Confirmed this is happening. I'm still on Lion.

It used to work in 0.21 and before, and that's why I got used to shift-scroll to zoom in VAB.

But after upgrading to 0.22 it ceased to work.

Right now I have to use middle-mouse-button and move my mouse to zoom, which is not as convenient as shift-scrolling.

I did some searching on Google and KSP Forums, but it seems there's no solution to this yet.

I see this on some linux distros also.

Whilst my external USB numpad allows zoom through it's + and - keys, the main kboard versions of those wont do anything. I find clicking the scrollwheel and mouse move is the only alternative that works. (probably my scroll-wheel is considered MMB per The Fog's post above)
