Moholes are a bug, but the devs found it amusing so they kept it.

Its a bug due to how worlds are generated. there's a munhole too. there is probably more aswell. I'm pretty sure the devs have confirmed its a bug, and the only reason it hasn't been fixed is because everyone likes it

The Mohole is just an illusion, almost a hoax. It's not as deep as everyone thinks, it's just the way the shadows fall from being so close to the Sun. And the Mun is fake... it's just plaster and wood built by the Kerban Government to funnel our tax dollars into an imaginary space race instead of fulfilling President Kerman's demand for cities and infrastructure!

Ok, ok... I'll take off the tinfoil hat. Just felt like someone had to play the denialist loon. It's a bug that became a feature, and unlike other companies who have declared that, it's something the majority of the community likes.

Were the moholes on the original version of Moho in 0.17 or not? The terrain was completely re-done in 0.18.

Well, I could not tell you, as I picked up the game at .20 . If they were not there, then..... Epic Theory Fail!

I think they are bugs, and they should be removed. I don't like them. Too unrealistic.
