I want to make Kerbals indestructible during EVA.

Where can i find the settings file for EVA kerbals? I want to make these guys indestructible, so i can do all sorts of mean things to them, like jettision them from an aircraft traveling at 2200 m/s, dropping them from orbit and seeing how high they bounce, and other stuff. Is this possible? I know you can edit parts to have ridiculously high impact tolerance, but i cannot find anything about making kerbals tougher when on EVA.

Although Kerbals are a Part, there is no Part file that you can change.

They have very hard helmets though. Often survive high velocity impacts, head first.

You can't edit them, no.

Just crash them head first they'll (usually) survive

If you go to the cheat menu, f12, click no impact damage(something like that) and they will never explode. Ever.

If you EVA, and are suddenly finding yourself plummeting to the ground at >2KM/s, you can always press 'R' just before impact to be temporarily invulnerable. The animation will stop any damage for now.
