Gentleman and germs, I have found something which absolutely tickled me to death in total nerd-gasmic fashion. While reading the part descriptions, I noticed a little something something that I found quite interesting. If one reads the description for the Z-100 Rechargeable battery bank, one may notice a little easter egg. As any self-respecting Whovian will know, reversing the polarity of anything will certainly fix said anything.

So my question to all ye explosion masters, is what other canon references have you noticed throughout the Kerbal Universe?

Reversing polarity is a common sci-fi technique for solving mysterious problems with obfuscated gadgetry. I don't know if Dr. Who used it first or not, but I first heard it a lot on Star Trek.

You can find black monoliths scattered around the solar system, if I recall correctly. There's one on the Mun that I know of, and I've seen footage of one near Kerbal Space Center on Youtube, too, a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
