How to get reentry scenes like in the video pale blue dot?

I was wondering if it was a setting that made his reentry look so crisp and clear or a mod and also how did he get that awesome forest?

most likely it was not in game footage. he probably modeled it himself or took the game's textures and made them higher qualities meaning he must have animated his own reentry.

If your talking about Nassault then you can't. I watch all his videos and Skype him all the time. I one day asked him how he does the weather and things and he said he takes the Effects and puts them around the object. Using a blender, he blends them together so it looks real. So No. There isn't a way to do that.

It's all video editing and the effects were done in an external program.

Your computer would probably die in a fire if tried rendering that in realtime anyway.

I think he is referring to Blender, the 3d animation software which has absolutely nothing to do with KSP.

It's free (open source), so you could download it and also make movies like that... when you have a few hundred hours of spare-time to learn how to use it properly.
