Destruction and Repairs

Recommended Posts

Just a suggestion to make crashing and explosions more pleasing, because who doesn't want that! What if instead of the parts exploding into nothing they broke into pieces or got bent out of shape?

Say your rocket crashes and the big orange Rocko-Max tank hits the ground, instead of just exploding it breaks into two smashed pieces. This could also at more importance to EVAs. Imagine you'r docking but you smash into a girder and it doesn't break off your ship it just bends out of shape. Now you have to send a kerbal to repair it.

Tell me what you think. good eh?

I was JUST thinking about this... that would be cool, and there are parts where you get replasement parts to fix things and you carry them on EVA.

It could be a nice idea, but about the big tank of fuel, I believe that if it's going to break into pieces, it should explode...it's full of fuel!

But still, its an interesting idea.

That's a suggestion I was going to make as well, fully-fuelled tanks should make HUUUUUUUGE explosions when they go up (I want my launch escape system and reflexes to be tested to the limit if something goes wrong!)
