"Stop Tracking This Craft" option.

Recommended Posts

Imagine for a moment... you land your lander on whatever planet and then check the craft's option for Stop Tracking.

What does that do, you ask? Well, it stops eating FPS tracking (for the most part) the location of an object that will probably never move again. Let's say that unless you get within 200,000 meters of the object, you'll just be told that it's "somewhere on Mun" or whatever. If you get close, then real-time tracking begins.

And of course, you can always uncheck the box whenever you want.

Reasoning: I've landed 4 craft on the Mun and planted three or four flags around some planets. Already the game has become almost unplayable!

If you concider that unplayable, you must have one HORRIBLE computer.

I have dozens of flights on progres, and notice nothing different.

Craft on rails (as everything that you are not currently controlling) are nothing but a single dot to the engine. Not even that, they are just a bunch of numbers detailing the position. The physics engine does absolutly NOTHING with them. They have no effect on your game. Unles maybe if you'd have thousands, but even than hardly
