Tips on looking after pet stick bug?

I just got a stick bug today, but do not know how to feed and look after it. I put some spinach, sprouts and a soaked paper towel in its box and today am going to get the right shape box (tall and thin). The reason that I have no idea what to do is that I wasn't planning on getting a stick bug, it just crawled onto me from the pavement :P

His name is Jeremy if anybody wanted to know.
