Maximum tonnage Small Jet Engine can VTOL?

What is the maximum tonnage the Small Jet Engine can lift off VTOL style? I've been designing an SSTO and want to know the maximum weight target so that when all is said and done, it still lifts off.

It depends on how many engines you have pushing the payload. But for just one basic jet engine, you're looking at around 15 tons maximum. Over 15 tons for one engine and it won't leave the ground VTOL style.

Correction: 15.30 ton limit for one basic jet engine.

i forgot i could just use the TWR equation. 150 thrust/9.81 (g) = 15.29 tons. i just figured it out. thanks for answering it too.
