New Guy + Help Getting to the Mun

Hey guys. I found this game a few days ago and I\'ve been playing non-stop since.

My first question, How do I properly control my ship once i exit the atmosphere. I\'ve got a few mods a mun-faring ship prepared and I can get into a stable orbit around Kerbin, but I can\'t seem to get my ship in an orbit on the same plane as the Mun\'s, once I\'m in orbit i try maneuvering and my ship starts to constantly point down and turn in completely wonky ways that don\'t even correlate with the keys I press. I\'ve made the launch about 9 times now and each time I end up burning every drop of fuel I have trying to do course corrections. x_x

RCS. It helps a lot. Also, try to equip your orbit stages with gimballing engines; you can turn off RCS while burning, thus saving a bit.

Also, your ship will seem to spin as you go around Kerbin, because you\'re pointing at a certain heading. I\'m not quite sure how to explain it, but say that point is on the other side of Kerbin. Your ship will point at that point while it\'s orbiting Kerbin in a circle.
