.23 Center of Thrust in VAB

Since you can now tweak the max thrust of individual engines, is the resulting overall thrust reflected in what the center of thrust graphic shows in the VAB? This would be excellent for shuttle-like crafts and other asymmetric concoctions.

Anyway, this is actually a good point. Depending on how the thrust indicator works, I'd say there's a good chance it will show the correct thrust vector. However, I don't think anyone has explicitly mentioned this yet.

The CoT indicator does indeed move when you adjust the thrust output for an engine

I haven't seen it myself, but someone in another thread mentioned that a kerbalkon streamer adjusted the thrust of an engine and the marker in the VAB shifted accordingly.

One thing I'm curious about though. When you adjust the max thrust of an engine, does the throttle scale accordingly for that engine? I'm assuming that is the case but I wanna make sure.

As far as I know, the thrust limiter is a percentage of whatever thrust you are using at that point i.e. if you put a thrust limit of 75% and throttled up halfway, the engine you put a thrust limit on would be thrusting 75% of halfway, if that makes sense.

I do not believe they said anything specific about this in the stream, but that is the only way it would make sense. Otherwise any off-center engines would only provide centered thrust (combined) at 100% thrust (if they are set up that way), and they did say that off-center thrust would be much easier to manage this way.

Now this is an awesome addition! Now things won't have to always be so... balanced? No more counter-weights for the side-mounted rovers.

Not to mention that tweaking fuel levels will let you see the dry centre of mass in the VAB, which will be useful for planes, spaceplanes, and re-usable boosters.

Is it possible to change max thrust of the engine using action groups? For example, press 2 to increase max thrust by 10%? Such hotkey will be very useful for shuttles
