I got here with a spaceplane, and then used the camera rotation to figure out where the exact north pole is. Came up with the idea of making a north pole station here. There are also interesting effects when walking around it, and standing right on top of it causes a weird camera glitch where the view turns upside down. It's also cool to watch the sun go around. Amazing that the entire earth turns around one tiny spot

Do those black texture seams the precise location? If so, that is awesome. You need to plant a flag.

Yep. I visited the north pole in one of my mission logs, and there's definitely some slightly off texture effects there, but they help in locating the exact pole.
