Add setting to disable automatic camera angle change

something simple like an entry in settings.cfg such as

FLT_CAMERA_AUTO =

which can then be set to True / False. It could default to True to maintain the way it works now but those who wanted could change it to False to disable the automatic camera angle changes.

Personally, If I want the camera angle to change then I will change it, automatic camera angle changes disorient me quite a lot and have ruined many a flight.

If you use V to cycle through camera modes, I believe the Free camera mode does as you ask.

Yes it does, however what I'm looking for is to basically be able to set Free camera mode as the default INSTEAD of "Auto".

I would be much more ok with the Auto camera if it was switching orbital/free mode based on how close I am to the body relative to its diameter rather than based on whether I am in orbit or not. At great distances, orbital mode is better. But in LKO I find orbital mode very uncomfortable; as long as the planet is big I feel much better if it's "below" the ship rather than on the side.

I agree, its extremelly annoying when suddenly my camera mode changes and spins out.

I also belive that the "Chase" camera shouldnt be locked to the center of mass, but have a bit of freedom (like racing games camera).

That way it would be usefull at all when piloting rovers and airplanes.

As it is now, it's just annoying, and gives no sense of speed.

It would also be very nice I think if that 'spinning' of the camera cut out instantly if you start actively moving the camera, or at least was in some way configurable.
