Given that Kerbals are massless when in a pod, the likely answer is that they do not have any mass at all.

There is an unlimited amount of Kerbal jetpack fuel, and flags in the pod. So I doubt it.

And if they did have weight... how was it going to make a difference?

I don't know if they changed it, but to my knowledge Kerbals do weigh. I remember some versions ago where I tested an empty manned pod with chutes, landing nicely. After that I gave the green light for a manned flight, but the weight of the Kerbals tipped the balanced and it crashed.
