SSTO Sabre YSS-2000 (My first SSTO)

(Rapier armed starfighter edition in the last post) (Enjoy) My first ssto with a rato system. This modified sabre definitely has enough delta-v to get into orbit, but I admittedly suck at flying sstos. It even includes a docking adapter for future adoption of a hyperring extension. It will also be continually developed.

Flight instructions:

1. Keep stable until at 20 m/s, and stage for rocket asisters while veering off the ramp as smoothly as possible.

2. You probably have a better idea than I do after shutting down the rato by pressing 2...

1. Activate RATO system

2. Deactivate RATO system

3. Activate the turbine engines

4. Deactivate the turbine engines

5. Activate the aerospike

6. Deactivate the aerospike

2 Sabre SSTO fighters?

(Incase anyone asks it is being rebuilt to have Sabres.)

I do like a more rugged industrial look, but your not so replica based sabre definitely looks to be formidable for its size.

I could never match the delta-V of some of your craft though, so replica accuracy vs performance is sometimes the dilemma. Should I make a rapier edition, or make the hyperdock ring first?

The new sabre ssto RAPIER edition is much more efficient. It even boasts the ability to dock, since the download version has an rcs system and about 200 units of monopropellent.

Flight instructions:

1. Keep stable until at 40 m/s and click stage

2. You probably have a better idea than I do after shutting down the rato by pressing 2...
