Robje
Perhaps this is a stupid question but what exactly does the green bar next to recovery in the science experiment window mean? What does the ratio between the dark and light green say?Furthermore, is it true that the Comms DTS-M1 is worse than the Communotron 16 in .23? (smaller bandwith and more power consumption) or am i missing something?Thx
Geschosskopf
The total length of the bar is the total amount of science you can earn for that type of experiment in that location. The light green part shows the fraction of the total amount that this run of the experiment will get you, if you recover it instead of transmitting. The dark part of the bar is what's left.Of the 3 antennae, the starting whip antenna and the big umbrella one both use the least power, but the umbrella is much faster. The middle antenna, the folding radar dish thing, is faster than the whip, slower than the umbrella, and uses more power than both. It's always been that way AFAIK
Robje
Thanks! that first part makes sence and clearifies things. However, the part about the antennae doesn't seem to correlate with the VAB rightclick info.
