PYLON SSTO: a 0.23 replica of REL's Skylon!

I'm trying to create an accurate replica of the skylon (like munbug for apollo). If it had 8 nozzles, it would not be accurate.

If you were trying to make an accurate replica you would have a working cargo bay and it would take off before reaching the end of the runway xD

kissSh0t: I'm still working on it. it isn't the easiest craft to replicate. I was unaware that it had another engine at the rear. If I stuck to the original plans in terms of wheels, then when you pitch up at the runway's end, you would almost certainly take the rear of the craft. it would also rest on it's rear when idle, and I would need to bring the center of mass forward a lot in order to compensate for this. this would also mean that there would be more mass in the PYLON, meaning more engines, meaning more fuel, meaning more mass ect. by the end, it would look like a whackjob ship.

The main problem with a Skylon design is that in KSP it doesn't have enough lift, you can solve this to place some wings on the bottom of the craft. Also, ZodiaK a replica is going to cost you a ton of parts but I'm looking forward to it.
