Did I land on Mt. Satan?

I do not have pictures but believe me, I was landing and I see I am heading for these pitch black mountains, normal right? Well it was mid-day, but that's not the creepy part, I landed perfectly but when I got out for a surface sample my screen went black, sorta, the altitude messed up and sprang to 666 km and the timer went to 00:00:00 and my nav ball faced straight down.... any explantation? I had also lost my world, it won't lord, kind of, it shows the quit button and bottom bar fine, but it's just pure black for everything else..... how creepy right
