Help with Joystick

Recommended Posts

I just got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick for Christmas, and I have it set up and functioning, but not to the extent that I want to. I have it so w,a,s,d,q,e and throttle are all bound to their respective axis/ throttle, but they only function if the throttle or joystick is in the "all out" position, so no fine tuning. I was wondering how I could get that fine tune by making the controls sensitive to the little movements of the joystick. Thanks

Now I used the Axis settings in KSP, but I'm still not getting incremental control.

Solution: I just assigned the axis bindings in-game with no 3rd party software. Works excellent, even the throttle.

Where did you set the controls? In the KSP settings you can assign an axis to movement and throttle.

If you used some joystick software to assign an axis to a key then revert that and use KSP's method to assign controls.

I used the logitech profiler to map the axis to the KSP controls, but I think the problem is that those controls don't have a "halfway", or any increment for that matter. It's just a 1 or 0 situation, so mapping that way won't solve my problems.
