Science Still at 1

Recommended Posts

I'm still learning about this science update. I have had a number of flights that I have transmitted science for, but in the R&D lab I still only have 1 science. Admittedly, I haven't recovered any of the flights (because I'm not sure how) bit I thought if I successfully transmit the signal that it would still count as saved science. All of the flights have landed within the close vicinity of the launch pad.

Thank you!

If you want to recover your missions, go to Tracking Station, click on ships you want to recover and click the left green button at the bottom left, with the Crane picture.

Regarding your transmissions, did you have an antenna on your ships or did you just press the blue Transmit button? Just the button is not enough.

Once you land, move the mouse over the altimeter at the top of the screen. It will move down and reveal the 'recover vessel' button. Also, you can go back to the tracking station and recover any vessel landed on Kerbin from there.

Only reason I can think of why even transmitted science is not counted is that you've reverted your flight back to the VAB/SPH after landing. When you revert a flight you're loading an autosave from the moment you clicked 'launch'. Everything you did since that point is lost, including all transmitted science.

Instead of reverting you should do exactly what both Kasuha and Awaras suggested: pull down the green recover button and click.
