Unable to select objects or create nodes in map view.

Any idea what I've done or is it a bug?

I don't get the option to create nodes when hovering mouse on an orbital path and cannot target planets or ships.

A screen shot would help.

The Map Mode does have problems with allowing setting a maneuver mode under certain views especially when you have an encounter path in the way. Zoom in, change viewing angles, etc... until you can place a node. Then, move that node to where you needed it.

Mmm tried that, I created a node using mechjeb and then time warped and suddenly I can create nodes again.

Now i dont want to sound to condesending but have you tried turning it off and on? Your ksp that is.

Every now and then i will have a problem that causes me some map issues. Its very rare but it does happen. I just restart ksp.

You'd be surprised. Engineers usually end up in management (especially if they have an MBA) and a lot of CEOs are engineers.

Also on-topic, sometimes I have issues selecting other vehicles to switch to in map view, especially if they're close together in sun orbit (several vehicles heading to the same place). I quit to the space center and switch to them from the tracking station if that happens.
