Scorched
I am running windows 7 on my new computer, so I decided to transfer my save file from my old computer to my new computer.Once I loaded a game up, I wanted to build a fancy plane that would require part clipping. However, when I press Alt+F12, the toolbar does not appear. At first I thought it was because of my screen ratio or something, so I changed it multiple times. I also tried re-loading the game, but my debug toolbar still wont work. I don't think it's my keyboard because Alt+F2 still opens the debug console.UPDATE: I tried re-installing my game. When I press Alt+F12, it gives a little lag burst and nothing happens.UPDATE 2: I think it's my keyboard as F12 is also my scroll lock key. Is there anyway to re-map the debug toolbar hot key? flightmaster
I think it's right alt+F12 if memory serves me correctly or, if you ARE using right alt, try left alt

vexx32
If you're on a laptop with a Fn key, you might find standard F1-F12 functions nonfunctional unless you press the Fn key as part of the combinations. As such, it could be Fn+Alt+F12.

vexx32
Eh, some laptops only make use of F6 through F12 with a Fn variant function, so it's still possible. The only keybinding that would affect this is the MOD key binding, and that affects all Alt combinations and variants in KSP. Only other thing I can think of is that perhaps another application (a screen recorder perhaps?) is taking input from Alt+F12 and not allowing KSP to pick it up. Spartwo
I always had this problem(except F1).Where is this fn you speak of?
Murph
I always had this problem(except F1).Where is this fn you speak of?It's specific to your keyboard. Not all keyboards have a Fn or fn key, it's not part of the traditional full PC keyboard. It basically exists to multiplex missing keys on top of other keys (making 1 key perform double duty), or to add extended features on top of existing keys (e.g. volume, brightness, media stop/pause/play/fwd/rev/etc).So, doesn't exist on "standard" (quotes, as there isn't really a single standard any more) full keyboards, only on small or enhanced/extended keyboards. RarePlutonian
It's not Alt F12 it's CTRL Alt F12 I am 100% sure!
MoreUmpf
You should try Alt - F4. Worked for me
Boomerang
You might need to have a snoop around your keyboard settings then, if it's not letting you use F12 even when KSP is in full screen. Might be able to disable the Scroll Lock and other such functions assigned to the function keys.
