Science Part: Camera

This seems like the most basic form of science equipment used by NASA, yet it's not in KSP ... would love to this implemented in a way that actually displays photograph(s) to the user.

I've wanted that two more a looooooong time, basically ever since I joined.

I also think things like telescopes and scanners would be awesome. You could learn about a planet before you go there!

Yes, KSP needs a camera. You should get different science values depending on what you photographed and how good the photo is.

While it's not the same as a stock part, L-Tech has a camera that does take real photos as well as produce science, and the Ordan Industries telescope mod (here in the forums) is both a very usable telescope and a science generating part.
